Is there a way to input function keys (F1-F12) on this remote? Can the remote recive firmware updates in the future? Thanks in advance for your answer.
Is there a plan to rectify the lack of F keys? It seems to be misrepresenting as a Win remote without F key support.
we cannot add one more row of keys to the existing product, we may do it only on the next generation with a redesigned casing. Misrepresentation - it really depends on your usage. For myself, I haven't touch the F keys for years. This remote is targeted for media consumption on and we believe most applications do not involve touching the F keys. And we market it as a Win remote because we have integrated many of the useful Windows 10 shortcuts to the remote. Sorry if it causes inconvenience to you! It's the first remote of the same kind, we do have to keep learning and listening to users' feedback so that we may make better products in the future!
