OK I got the new bluetooth module and it hasn't increased my range a bit. I've tried it with 3 different devices... Sony wh-ch700n headphones; Bugani M90 speaker; and Tozo T6 earbuds. I tried updating the driver but windows says it already is using the best driver. So is there something else I need to do? Those 3 devices I mentioned above work just fine with my iphone 6 when I leave it within 12" of my UC2X and I walk the same distance and path in my double wide mobile home. Regards,
You may mod the antenna by getting an external one and extend it from the case...... (make sure it's MHF4 standard) This one you don't have to drill a hole, double-sided tape should do the trick. This one you will have to drill a hole on the case. Which module did you upgrade to? I bought the antenna you suggested that didn’t need any holes drilled and it is not as good as the one that came with the UC2X
