Hello all, I am hoping someone can give me some advice about my GLK-UC2X.
It currently just boots into the EFI shell where it just shows:

    Device mapping table:
    blk0 :BlockDevice Alias (null)
    PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x0)/Ctrl(0x0)
    blk1 :BlockDevice Alias (null)
    PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x0)/Ctrl(0x1)
    blk2 :BlockDevice Alias (null)
    PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x0)/Ctrl(0x2)

I can boot it from an Win 10 bootable USB drive, however the recovery process appears to find no drive on which it can install windows. The Bios shows SATA enabled but no devices present, and no NVMe device found.

The box had previously been working fine but just found it in this state one morning. It has had no upgrades, and I have subsequently tried using the pin hole reset button on the box to reset it in addition to resetting to defaults in the BIOS.

Would greatly appreciate any advice as to what might have occurred and what it might be worth trying to resolve the issue.

    With many thanks
    alan

Alan, you may add an SSD to the M.2 slot and re-install Windows into it.

The activation is in the BIOS so it will be activated automatically when connected to the Internet.

I have the same problem. The built in eMMC has disappeared overnight. Not evident in the BIOS menu and no option to change boot order.

Is there anything else we can do to troubleshoot? Reinstalling windows on another drive, as per the previous answer, is not very satisfactory.

I have the very same problem. My eMMC dissapeared before christmas.

I installed an SSD, but couldn't install windows, because the installer errored out with a bluescreen every time. Linux wasn't a problem to start and install.
I gave up and bought a MinisForum PC.
