So, my mini PC has been crashing lately. I had cloned, and repartitioned a 500G Western Digital SSD that is my boot record of choice. My company IT guy had as he has seen some issues there, so I bought a Crucial 500G SSD, mirrored it, swapped it out, and was fine for two days, then it Blue screened and no longer even sees that as a bootable drive... So I am back over to the WD SSD, with zero faith in the reliability of the setup.
Also, the fan bearings have started to whine as well.
This is starting to be the most expensive money I every saved on a computer.

Am I the only one having these issues? Thoughts?

Blue screen? You should be able to view the Windows error log inside of the Windows 10 OS to see what is causing it.
As most blue screen (BSOD) issues are caused by driver software instead of the hardware.
We may replace the fan for your device if it doesn't work properly.
For now, the most important thing to do is to find out the root cause of those "crashes".

These times are consistent with BSoD events. CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED is the Stop Code for each event.

Kernel - power, that points to the power adapter/ power supply.

Well, when the only solution to reboot in unplug, then yeah, it's going to look like a power failure... I purchased a second SSD, migrated everything over, and that died within 3 days. Me thinks they are allergic to peppers for some reason. Currently the GLK is holding down the corner of my desk as I suppose I could have two bad SSDs in that time frame, but probability points elsewhere.

    Ken-
I tried my third SSD card today. I installed, ran all the pending updates and life was good. Saw the card, was about to start imaging when the power failed. Not to worry, rebooted, no SSD card popped up. Rebooted a couple more times, nothing. Swapped SSD cards for one of the older ones, saw that. Reinstalled, the "new" SSD, and it's there. The issue isn't with the SSDs, its with the PC recognizing the slot apparently.

So, we have reached the limit of the time threshold I am going to pour into this box. Given that it is where it is with the slot and the fan, what do you advise I do? Note that I will have functioning PC on my desk at the end of this week, just not sure yet who's it is going to be.

Would you consider sending us back the device for an exchange if it's still within warranty period?

Well, you can have it back for sure. I am hard pressed to continue experimenting when support takes 4 days to reply. And unfortunately we are beyond your willingness to back your products so guess I am SOL. It's a bit ironic that effectively your warranty is good for a couple of months practically as support takes so long to reply.
