Hi, first off I wanted to say to the Pepper Jobs people that this is a fantastic product, great job. I love this remote, I've been using it for about a year now. That said, there are a few things I wanted to mention.

    1. The key for - / _ is reversed on the keyboard. Meaning, I have to press [fn] to get -, whereas on a regular keyboard you press [shift] to get _. It is a minor issue but still kinda annoying.

    2. Battery life. I understand that having both sides backlit must consume a significant amount of power. But maybe in a future revision you guys can figure out how to squeeze a bit more power out of a couple AAA cells? Or maybe move to AA cells? I'm having to replace the batteries about every 3 weeks or so, which I'm ok with because this is a great remote, but if the battery life can be better that would be awesome!

    3. Bloated buttons on the front face of the remote. I'm not sure when it started happening, but I noticed it a few months ago and it seems to be getting slowly but continually worse. There is a big air gap between the rubber button cover and the membrane on the board. I think maybe the rubber is degrading and losing its form? Anyway, I've included photos below. I wouldn't mind having to buy another remote, but I would like to know why this is happening and that it won't happen with a new remote.

    Hi Jesse,

    Thanks for your feedback.

1.) We purposely defined it that way for "-" & "_", and we shall improve the layout based on your feedback.
2.) Eneloop Pro is a good solution for heavy-duty users, I have 4 of them at home.

3.) Did you leave it in some places with heat before? Do you press the keys hard usually?
Our first prototype is still here in the office, and the pad still looks good to me.

It hasn't been in temperatures higher than the ambient indoor temp in the summer. I don't think I press the keys especially hard, this unit however has seen a lot of usage. It's been in my hand probably at least half an hour everyday since last July. Why did you choose to flip the _ / - key for the remote?
