Hi all can someone tell me how to boot ubuntu from USB, I all ready have a working usb that boots on my main computer but I can't see how to do it on the Pepper Job. TIA John
There are 3 ways you can boot it from your USB drive, assuming you have created with the official method (rufus tool). Method 1: Press F11 during boot, choose the USB UEFI drive Method 2: Press Delete during boot, entering BIOS's Boot menu, changing the boot priority to the USB UEFI drive, Save and Exit. (F10) Method 3: Press Delete during boot, entering BIOS's "Exit" menu, go to Boot Override, select the USB UEFI drive
Official tutorial to create the bootable drive: https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutori...4.819839711.1553049455-522998404.1532591262#0 P.S. I didn't change the "Boot selection" option during the creation of the drive.
Fixed I had to enable CSM support to get the USB to show up in the boot manger, it's now working fine. I may risk updating the BIOS I never liked doing that.
