What's a good (relatively cheap) usb-c power delivery monitor that's compatible with the GLK-UC2X? I have a Dell P2219HC, but it's not able recognize the GLK. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It's very interesting on "USB-C PD monitor", because no need original power supply for GLK-UC2X, just using one cable (Type C to Type C) between GLK-UC2X and PD monitor, is it possible on power from monitor, display out to monitor by same cable?

Lenovo T24m, T24i, cheap but nice, and 100% verified by Pepper Jobs.
By the way, could you please tell us more?
Which port did you connect to, why it isn't able to recognize?
Did you connect to the back USB-C port 1 with a battery-like symbol?

Yes, the USB-C port 1 on the back supports that.

Yes connected to USB-C Port 1. This is what the monitor displays, even after pressing a keyboard key or moving the mouse:

I'm thinking it may be the power profile: the Dell outputs Power Delivery at 20V/3.25A, 15V/3A, 9V/3A, and 5V/3A. The usb-c cable I'm using works because I'm able to output video from my chromebook: so I know that's not the issue.

Well, GLK-UC2X can take 9V as input from the USB-C port 1.
Some earlier PD devices don't have the "cold-start" capability,
it means they can charge, just can't turn on things from OFF -> ON.
Just like yours, it says "wake up the device (from sleep)".
You may try to go into BIOS, setting EUP to OFF, and Auto Power to ON,
see if it may trigger the monitor's PD supply.

You may also try using the original 12V DC adapter,
MAKE SURE YOU PLUG IN THE USB-C CABLE TO THE mini PC BEFORE PLUGGING IN THE DC ADAPTER, then turn the mini PC ON to see if the display function may work alone, at least.

EUP is already set to OFF; where can I find 'Auto Power'?

No change; still states something to the effect 'No signal received'

I’ve checked with our local reseller, the model is EOL so we can’t buy it anymore.

Not sure if you can’t get the Lenovo that I mentioned, they are like the best USB-C monitors that we have tested by far. Perfect power logic, good panel.

By the way, avoid Acer models, terrible power logic.

So after some further investigation, I've found that I am getting both power and data from the USB-C port on my Dell to the GLK: no video though :(. For now I'm good with a using different protocol for the video.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll look into the Lenovo monitors once I have some budget for them... or maybe one of the premium LG models

GLK-UC2X is very light and easy to bring it out, then you can test the connection with type-C cable first.

    We've tested LG. e.g. UK850 series.
    No problem.

It should work, but what’s the point while you have our original adapter? Haha...
