Has anyone had any luck remapping these keys with third party software? I mainly use the remote in Plex, and they don't do anything in that program. I have tried KeyTweak, AutoHotkey, and Sharpkeys, and none of them can identify the original command to remap it. I know the keys are working, and send some sort of command to the PC, because they work in Spotify (forward and back 15 seconds per press). They just don't do anything in Plex. I'd like to make them skip tracks instead, because Plex doesn't automatically skip the ending credits of episodes.
Hi, I managed to remap fast-forward and rewind keys using AutoHotKey and companion script AHKHID. The original input isn't blocked, but those buttons send regular Media_Prev and Media_Next keystrokes. You can find ahk script on my github /Inirdin/Pepper-Jobs-W10-Gyro-Remapping
